Corporate governance is a system by which companies are directed and controlled. Corporate governance aims to achieve accountable, fair, efficient and transparent administration in the interest of all the stakeholders such as shareholders, employees, suppliers, customers and society in general. Law makers have constantly adopted regulations to improve corporate transparency and to protect shareholders and stakeholders.
