Another Achievement
We are thrilled to share yet another achievement of My Legal Partners (MLP), IP Litigation team, which successfully obtained an 𝐞𝐱-𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐝-𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐦 𝐢𝐧𝐣𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫 for our client namely YC Electric Vehicles, in a trademark infringement and passing-off case before the Hon’ble Delhi High Court.
The team comprising Yatin Chadha (Founder & Principal Consultant), Mayank Chadha (co-founder), Shikha Sagar (Associate),
Dolly Luthra (Senior Associate), Gurvinder Singh (Associate) and Ekta Mahendru (Associate) prepared the case and obtained the favourable order under the guidance and representation of Neeraj Grover, Advocate.
The suit is based on our Client’s proprietary rights in “YATRI” branding used in respect of E-rickshaws. Our client is India's largest e-rickshaw manufacturing/selling entity with the highest e-rickshaw sales in India in past couple of years .
The Defendant, Saksham Trading Company, adopted a deceptively/confusing mark “YATRA” in respect of identical goods i.e., E-rickshaw.
