In the recent case of ABHI TRADERS (Plaintiff) v FASHNEAR TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED (MEESHO) and ORS. (Defendants), Plaintiff filed a suit for copyright infringement and passing off for misusing the Plaintiff’s photographs and images and selling copies of their garments hampering the Plaintiff’s rights and riding upon the goodwill and reputation of the Plaintiff for unauthorized gains.
